(aka: High School Conference)
The NMSU Model United Nations Team is excited to host its third annual Junior Model UN (JMUN) Conference! This is a great way to learn about international diplomacy through hands-on problem-solving, collaborative work, and critical thinking. Delegates will be asked to research and craft a brief paper outlining their country’s stance on the issues that will be addressed in Conference. During the Conference, delegates will have the opportunity to simulate a UN committee with the NMSU team, deliver brief speeches on their country’s positions, and work with fellow delegates to write resolutions outlining collaborative solutions to real-world problems.
The Conference will be held on the NMSU campus on October28th (evening) and October 29th (all day).
Stay tuned for final times, location, and agenda.
